Some students choose to work while taking their course, but we recommend limiting work commitments due to the intensive nature of our programs.
- No classes are scheduled on Sundays, which may allow students to arrange a regular shift to gain experience or earn extra income.
- Between terms, students may have the opportunity to take on more extended work hours.
- During term time (Monday–Saturday), part-time work is discouraged, as students may not have a fixed schedule, making it difficult to commit to regular shifts.
- Students enrolled in intensive courses or the Grand Diplôme® may find it particularly challenging to work, as their schedules are highly demanding.
Alternatively, students can take their Diploma Courses as "À La Carte" certificate modules, allowing them to work for a few months between course levels. For example, a student may complete Basic Cuisine, work for three months, then continue with Intermediate Cuisine. However, please note that this option does not qualify for the Diploma course discount.
Visa Restrictions:
Students on a student visa are permitted to work up to 10 hours per week. For the latest visa regulations, please visit the Home Office website.
